Hidden Hills Country Road *B
DOB 3/14/2021
Country Road, or Denver as we call him, is a young buck who we are very excited about! His grandmother on both sides is the absolutely gorgeous SGCH Bellafire BP Country Melody. Melody is long and level, with E's in shoulder, legs, and back. She has a fantastic, beautifully-attached udder, scoring 40 for rear udder height and 38 for rear udder arch, with a fore udder attachment score of 37. Denver's dam Southern Charm is turning out to be every bit as lovely as her dam: long-bodied and wide with an excellent topline and beautiful udder. Charm has never had a full lactation recorded, but she has amazing promise, milking 7.3 lbs at 35 days fresh on her third lactation!
Like his dam Charm, Denver's sire Magic Mike is also out of Country Melody. We are very excited to have those Melody genetics doubled up in this boy! Mike's sire, Wood Bridge Farm Valedictorian *B, is the son of 2014 National Junior Champion GCH Wood Bridge Farm Teacher's Pet. Additionally, Valedictorian is littermate brother to GCH Wood Bridge Farm Spelling Bee, the highest-selling Colorama kid in ADGA history at $16,100! Spelling Bee is a doe who has proven herself in the show ring time and again, winning 2nd place junior kid at Nationals in 2016, 11th place yearling milker in 2017, 1st place 2 year-old and best udder in 2018, and 5th place 3 year-old in 2019!
With a pedigree full of animals who are very structurally correct as well as being excellent producers, we are very excited to begin using Denver in fall of 2021!
